Great car so far at a great price, I'll have to see about long term durability, only time will tell. Very quiet cruiser, great styling both interior and exterior. Very nice road feel: good feel without harshness. Quality feel to all switches and components. Poor dealership experience from Joe Basil Chevrolet Lancaster NY- the sales manager tried to slip the extended service contract (by failing to talk about it, and to say that my "initials" on a document was the same as signing the contract, and when I caught it the dealer said it was a problem between me and GMAC. What? GMAC will adjust the amount of money I owe them ($2300) by subtracting a few payments off the end of the loan. This will force me into paying off the loan next month rather than having payments, which is what I intended to do initially. Of course configuring it this way, they will get their interest paid up front. It seems the cars have improved but the old domestic dealer mentality has not changed, unfortunately. Be careful when to deal with a dealer, don't rush the process, pay attention to everything.

My 2008 Malibu LT power steering has gone out on my car. It's at the dealership now. The lock motor on the front passenger has also gone bad.
