• Eight hydraulic cylinders with mechanical linkages enable the hardtop on the 2007 Volkswagen Eos to be lowered in 25 seconds.

• The available six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) is fully automatic, but if desired can be shifted manually with shifts taking two-tenths of a second.
• The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 200 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque.

I own a 2009-- the 2.0 liter turbo 4 is the only engine choice now. It has plenty of pep and I get 27 mpg around town and 32 mpg on the highway. I've had no leaks, either-- I think VW has solved that problem.
