The
Lincoln MKX offers car-like ride and handling characteristics because it’s based on
Ford’s CD3 platform, which is shared with the Ford
Edge and the current trio of Lincoln

Fusion sedans. The MKX is the first crossover product for Lincoln, and is the beginning of a product strategy designed to bring viable products to the Lincoln showroom, the manufacturer says. The MKX adds more standard features for 2008, including the Sync system that allows voice activation of cellular phones and audio controls.
