The Lexus LX 470 has been around a while, having been based on the equally-aging Toyota Land Cruiser platform. While the LX 470 may not be the latest thing on the block, it still scores big with luxury SUV buyers looking for reliability and comfort in a manageable size. Loaded with numerous electronic devices, the LX 470 remains competitive with, and in some cases better equipped than, the newer competitors from Infiniti, Cadillac, Lincoln and Mercedes-Benz. And, having the Lexus name on it isn't bad for image or resale, either.
