The Compass is an all-new Jeep model for 2007. It is Jeep’s entry into the compact and crossover sport utility segment and is the first Jeep built on a front-wheel-drive platform, though it is available with 4-wheel drive (4WD) to deal with adverse weather and low-traction surfaces.
