2006 Honda Civic sedan

The cornerstone of Honda’s universe, the Civic, is all-new for 2006. Now in its eighth generation, the 2006 model receives contemporary exterior styling; a new interior with two-tier instrument panel; more powerful, efficient engines with lower emissions; enhanced suspension geometry; and standard front, front-side, and side-curtain air bags. All Civics now feature drive-by-wire throttle control, anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake Distribution, active front head restraints, and a tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Satellite navigation with voice recognition is now available, as is XM Satellite Radio. The Civic Hybrid can now deactivate the gas engine and operate using only the electric motor in certain low-speed cruising situations.
