The heavy-duty (HD) line of 2007 Silverados has been totally redone (although the previous-generation model—dubbed the “classic”—also exists for 2007). New interior and exterior changes, helping to differentiate the HD from its light-duty counterparts, are accompanied by upgraded gasoline and diesel powerplants and a new 6-speed automatic transmission.
