Based on the Toyota Camry platform, the Venza is a midsize crossover SUV with seating for up to 5 passengers. It is offered in either 4- or 6-cylinder trim levels with a front- or all-wheel-drive powertrain. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard. As the Venza was a brand-new model for 2009, changes for 2010 are limited to new standard iPod, USB and Bluetooth phone connectivity on all models.
