The all-new 2011 Kia Optima debuted with a new streamlined profile designed to convey elegance and athletic confidence, says the automaker. Under the hood of the all-new platform are engines shared with the Hyundai Sonata—a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder hybrid or a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged powerplant. Each comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with standard “Sportmatic” clutchless shifting.
