Ford introduced its first crossover, the Edge, for the 2007 model year and it took the segment sales title in its first year on the market. For 2009, the Edge is powered by a 265-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) is available. With the rear seats folded, the Edge provides 69 cubic feet of cargo room.
