Chrysler introduced the compact PT Cruiser as a 2001 model and, according to the company, has sold more than 1.3 million of what it calls a “segment-busting” design. For 2009, Chrysler drops the convertible body style, leaving only a 5-passenger wagon. Also available for 2009 is the Dream Cruiser Series 5 which includes Midnight White Pearl Coat paint;  17-inch SRT Design wheels; chromed body-side trim moldings; and a Pastel Slate Gray interior.
