2006 BMW 7 Series Sedan

BMW's flagship sedan has taken its fair share of knocks, roughed up by a not-to-kind press who praise its handling but are less enthusiastic about its exterior design and iDrive integrated computerized controls and hit hard by a number of less expensive competitors and the American thirst for luxury SUVs. For 2006, the entire 7 Series lineup gets a thorough freshening that sees the 745 replaced by a new model, the 750. Other changes include a reworking of the front hood, grille and headlights and further improvement of the iDrive system's functionality. Both the 750 V8 and 760 V12 models continue to be offered in both standard and long-wheelbase models.
