2009 Mercury Sable:
While the Sable’s styling remains unchanged for 2009, there are some important additions. AdvanceTrac, Mercury’s stability control system, is now standard on all models, along with Brake Assist and the SOS Post-Crash Alert System that honks the horn and flashes the lights in the event of an air bag deployment. The Reverse Sensing System is now standard on Premier models, as is satellite radio. Sable also gets its own version of the VOGA package, and on the exterior includes the following: chrome accent finishes on the grille and rear decklid appliqué, chrome accent finish on the rear badging, unique VOGA badging, and 18-inch chrome wheels with VOGA center caps. Inside, VOGA touches include unique Cyber Carbon Gray film appliqués around the instrument panel and center console, Cashmere door trim inserts and custom leather seats, VOGA stitching in the front seatbacks, and VOGA-embossed floor mats.
Seven all-new exterior colors finish the changes for 2009: Tuxedo Black Clearcoat Metallic, White Suede Clearcoat Metallic, Brilliant Silver Clearcoat Metallic, Sangria Red Clearcoat Metallic, Smokestone Clearcoat Metallic, Cinnamon Clearcoat Metallic, and White Chocolate Tri-Coat.
