2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
The CLS-Class debuted in 2006 as a stylish 4-door coupé. Style took precedence over function, so the incrementally larger CLS-Class actually offers less interior room than its sibling, the E-Class. For a fresh new look in 2009, Mercedes-Benz redesigned the grille, exterior mirrors, bumpers and exhaust pipes. The rear taillights are now illuminated by LEDs and the wheels are new 18-inch dual-spoke alloys. The interior of the CLS-Class benefits from a new steering wheel, new white-on-silver gauges, and an updated COMAND (COckpit Management And Navigation Device) infotainment system. Mercedes-Benz offers two 8-cylinder models in this class for 2009: the CLS550 and the high-performance CLS63 AMG.
