2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
New to the Mercedes-Benz family is the GLK-Class, the automaker’s smallest SUV offering. Set to debut in 2009 as a 2010 model, it is significantly sportier than the other Mercedes SUVs in the lineup. The 5-passenger GLK will be initially offered as the GLK350 with a 3.5-liter 268-hp engine. The standard driveline is Mercedes’ 4Matic full-time all-wheel-drive system. Within the interior, drivers will find the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz COMAND APS system. COMAND APS is the hub of control for nearly all of the navigation, entertainment and communication electronics on the vehicle. Competing against the BMW X3, Land Rover LR2, Acura RDX, and all-new Audi Q5, the new GLK offers the latest in active and passive occupant safety systems including the innovative Pre-Safe accident anticipatory system.
