2009 Infiniti FX-Series
All-new for 2009, Infiniti has completely redesigned its 5-passenger FX SUV. The new FX slots comfortably between the smaller, 5-passenger Infiniti EX35 and the larger, 7-passenger Infiniti QX56. In an SUV segment crowded with boxy truck-like offerings, both FX models are sleek, sporty, and designed to handle much like sports cars. The all-new FX35 features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 306 hp, while the more powerful FX50 is equipped with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine rated at 390 hp. Both are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission driving either the rear or all four wheels. In typical Infiniti fashion, both FX models are available with an extensive array of electronic driving aids including Around View Monitor (AVM) and Distance Control Assist (DCA). All feature a long list of standard luxury equipment.
