2009 Dodge Avenger
Introduced as a new model to replace the Dodge Stratus for 2008, the 2009 Dodge Avenger carries over mostly unchanged. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) model offered last year is no longer available, but Dodge has increased the fitment of safety features, making traction control and electronic stability control standard on SXT and R/T models. Dodge’s MyGIG hard-drive radio changes its name to UConnect Tunes or UConnect GPS when paired with a navigation system. Hard drive storage space also grows from 20 to 30 gigabytes. Base models add floor mats and an interior air filter as standard. Newly standard on the SXT model are fog lights and a rear spoiler. Finally, Dodge says it has improved the acoustic package to reduce cabin noise.
