2009 BMW X6
All-new for 2009, but released early in 2008, the BMW X6 is a 4-passenger Sport Activity Vehicle with coupé-like styling. There are two models in the lineup: the 8-cylinder xDrive50i and the turbocharged 6-cylinder xDrive35i. Each is equipped with full-time all-wheel drive and a 6-speed adaptive automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted shifters as standard equipment. Midyear updates to the X6 include the addition of an automatic tailgate to the Premium package and added value to the Cold Weather package, which now includes heated rear seats. The self-leveling suspension has been deleted on the V-8 model. Stand-alone options now include a leather-wrapped dashboard and a space-saver spare tire.
