2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Preview

There are seven different Hyundai Genesis Coupe models for 2010. The lineup includes: 2.0T, 2.0T Premium, 2.0T Track, 3.8, 3.8 Grand Touring, 3.8 Track, and 2.0T R-Spec. The “2.0T” and “R-Spec” models share the same 4-cylinder engine, while the “3.8” models feature the larger V-6 powerplant. Standard equipment on all models includes power windows, locks and mirrors, automatic lights, remote keyless entry, air conditioning (with manual controls), and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with 6 speakers. Unique in this price point, all variants of the Genesis Coupe will feature Bluetooth phone connectivity, iPod/USB/Aux audio inputs, and satellite radio capabilities as standard equipment. The 2.0T Premium model adds a sunroof, 360-watt Infinity audio system with 10 speakers, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power driver’s seat, and keyless proximity entry with push-button start. The 2.0T Track model builds upon the Premium model with the addition of leather upholstery, 19-inch alloy wheels, upgraded Brembo brakes, track-tuned suspension, limited-slip differential, aluminum pedals, rear spoiler, HID headlamps, aero wiper blades, and fog lights. The 2.0T R-Spec model is for the dedicated enthusiast. The lightweight, high-performance derivative deletes several standard features to allow aftermarket customization and increased performance, Hyundai says.

The 3.8 V-6 models are differentiated by cosmetic trim upgrades on the exterior, standard black leather upholstery, and fully automatic temperature controls. The 3.8 Grand Touring model adds unique brown leather upholstery (replacing the black leather), power driver’s seat, heated front seats, Infinity 360-watt audio upgrade, HID headlamps, backup warning system, heated mirrors, sunroof, and keyless proximity entry with push-button start. The Track model features black leather upholstery, 19-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, track-tuned suspension, limited-slip differential, aluminum pedals, aero wiper blades and a rear spoiler.
