Both the V70 and XC70 get standard Dynamic Stability Traction Control, a tire-pressure-monitoring system, new side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and simplified option and package choices for 2007. A dual-screen DVD entertainment system is now a stand-alone option. The high-performance V70R model has been discontinued for 2007; it will return when Volvo introduces new versions of the V70 and XC70 for 2008 and will be based on the new-for-2007 S80 sedan.
Reviews
Though it has been out of production for well over a decade, Volvo's boxy 240 wagon remains one of the most easily identifiable cars on the road today. Volvo's old wagons were not much to look at, but they had a reputation for utility and safety—a tradition continued with today's V70 and XC70 wagons.
