Rising gas prices have necessitated manufacturers’ move toward smaller, more fuel-efficient models.
Volvo has done just that with the introduction of the C30, the smallest car in Volvo’s model range. The production C30 closely resembles the C30 concept vehicle that made the auto show rounds not long ago. As with any Volvo, the makers claim an exceptionally high safety level. A new ordering process, called Custom Build, allows the buyer to choose from a range of options, accessories, exterior colors and interior combinations. A one-time charge of $300 will let buyers customize their C30 with more than 30 individual options.
