Standard 4-cylinder engine in base Camry, Camry LE and Camry XLE models gets size and power increase, to 2.5 liters (up from 2.4) and 169 hp (up from 158)
Camry SE 4-cylinder gets additional engine tuning, increasing horsepower to 179
New 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine now combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift capability
Non-hybrid Camry models get a newly designed grille and front bumper, an enlarged lower air intake, larger projector headlamps, and restyled tail lamps
Base Camry and Camry LE models feature restyled standard wheel covers
