2006 Nissan Pathfinder SUV

After undergoing a complete redesign in 2005, the third-generation Nissan Pathfinder has changed little for 2006. In keeping with the industry trend toward upsizing, the larger and more powerful Pathfinder stacks up well when compared to the latest competition from Toyota, Ford and GM. The Pathfinder has been made a more serious off-road SUV, offering such terrain-capable equipment as Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist. But it's the increase in interior volume coupled with the fold-flat third-row seat that's likely to get the new Pathfinder penciled onto more peoples' shopping lists.
