The Armada is in its third year of production, and although it sees no styling changes, it does receive one significant upgrade: the addition of flexible fuel technology that allows the engine to run on either traditional gasoline or E85, a mixture of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. Another engine enhancement improves engine breathing, which results in 12 additional horsepower for the full-size SUV.
