The Mitsubishi Outlander is now in its second generation as a compact crossover utility vehicle. For 2007, the Outlander is larger, offers seating for 5 or 7 passengers, features a new engine, paddle shifters, and the first-ever flap-fold tailgate. It is based on a new performance-engineered platform that also serves as the underpinnings for both the Lancer and Lancer Evolution sedans. Other features of this new compact utility include a satellite navigation system, an available Rockford Fosgate audio system with 650 watts of power, and an available rear-seat entertainment system to keep second- and third-row passengers quiet and content.
