The E-Class is Mercedes-Benz's mid-sized premium sedan. It slots neatly between the smaller C-Class and the big S-Class. Pitted against such rivals as the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Lexus GS, the E-Class sedan and wagon offer a combination of room, luxury, power and affordability (by Mercedes' standards at least). With the choice of V6 or V8 powerplants, rear-wheel or all-wheel drive and a host of luxury features, there is an E-class to suit just about everyone who can afford the $50K plus price tag.
