The all-new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour is positioned as the flagship model of the Accord lineup. It offers more cargo space than its parent model, and features a V6 engine as standard equipment. Honda defines the Accord Crosstour as an “active grand tourer”: a modern CUV with sedan-like characteristics. Its main competitors include the Toyota Venza and the Subaru Outback.
The Accord Crosstour is offered in two trims: EX and EX-L. The base EX has 17-inch wheels; the EX-L has 18-inch wheels. The EX-L trim has leather upholstery with heated front seats, a longer menu of power features, Bluetooth connectivity, and an optional Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice-activated controls and a large points-of-interest database. With the rear seats folded down, the Accord Crosstour has 51.3 cu. ft. of cargo space. The exterior features a distinctive rear end and a streamlined tailgate.
The Accord Crosstour’s 271-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine with two-wheel drive delivers 18 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway, and 21 mpg combined, according to the EPA. With four-wheel-drive, mileage is 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. An five-speed automatic transmission is standard.
Standard safety features include Vehicle Stability Assist™, antilock disc brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, front side airbags, and side curtain airbags. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Accord Crossover “Good” overall ratings in front- and side-impact tests. The NHTSA gave it five stars for all front- and side-impact tests.
The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour started with an MSRP of $29,670.
