For 2010, all non-diesel V-8 engines offer flex-fuel capability, while the 4.8- and 5.3-liter engines now feature variable valve timing. A 6-speed automatic transmission is added to regular and extended cab models fitted with the 5.3-liter V-8 (previously it was offered only on crew cab models), and all 5.3-liter-equipped models feature a standard 3.08 axle ratio for enhanced fuel economy. Additional changes for 2010 include standard side curtain air bags and seat-mounted side air bags for all models, a USB port included on all but base radios, expanded availability of the rear-view camera system, and two new exterior colors.
