The 2006 GMC Sierra offers a new base-model 1500 SL Crew Cab that is actually less expensive than last year’s model, plus a new Extended Cab version with a short, 5-foot 8-inch cargo box. A new VortecMAX Performance Package, which is designed to improve towing capability, is offered on select models.
