Dodge's newest pickups literally stretch Crew-Cab accommodations to new lengths. Dodge engineers took their 160.5-inch wheelbase "long box" Ram, replaced its eight-foot box with the standard Ram's six-foot, three-inch box, then added 20 of those 21 inches to the back of the cab. This created a whopping 111-inch long cabin without increasing overall length. Inside is a record 145.2 cubic-feet of space, nearly half available for cargo with the 60/40 split rear bench folded flat. These immodestly but accurately named "Mega" Cab pickups are available in 1500, 2500 and 3500 4x2 and 4x4 models with 5.7-liter HEMI V8 or 5.9-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel six-cylinder power.
