The Dodge Caravan and long-wheelbase Grand Caravan have been continuously upgraded with new features since the introduction of the current generation in 1996. According to Dodge, Caravan SE is the lowest-priced vehicle in the minivan segment. It comes with a 150-hp, 2.4L, four-cylinder engine as well as front airbags, air conditioning, and a CD player. The Dodge Caravan SXT has a 180-hp, 3.3L V-6 engine, dual-zone air conditioning, power locks/windows/rear vents, as well as second-row bucket seats and a tilt steering column. The longer Grand Caravan SE has the same 3.3L V6 as the short-wheelbase SXT, as well as anti-lock disc brakes, sliding DoorAlert, and a third row seat that folds into the floor.
