The Caravan shares the same body as the Chrysler Town & Country, but offers a lower price tag and a sportier appearance. As a low-priced "entry-level," short-wheelbase model, the Caravan does not get the "Stow `n Go" seating found in the Grand Caravan. This leaves the Caravan in a poor position when facing the Chevrolet Uplander and Kia Sedona, both of which offer more powerful V6 engines and a longer list of standard features. The four-cylinder Caravan will also face tough times versus sportier but smaller models such as the less expensive MAZDA5.
