A less lengthy version of the full-size Suburban, the Tahoe offers three-row seating and good cargo-carrying ability in a smaller size than its big brother. Though built on a body-on-frame platform and powered by a gas-thirsty V8, the Tahoe remains a popular choice for families who need room for the kids and power to tow. Rising gas prices have cut into sales, forcing Chevrolet to offer some sweet deals that shave thousands off the Tahoe's MSRP. A significantly revised and restyled version of the Tahoe is expected to arrive soon, so the 2006 is predicted to be the last of the current bodystyle.
