2006 Chevrolet Impala Sedan

Chevrolet’s Impala receives fresh exterior styling for 2006, with new front and rear fascias, headlamps, and tail lamps. Suspensions have been retuned and ABS and traction control systems have been enhanced. Under the hood resides an all-new family of 3.5L and 3.9L V-6 engines with variable valve timing for LS, LT, and LTZ models, while the SS model features a 5.3L small-block V-8 with Displacement on Demand technology to increase fuel economy. Inside, the instrument panel and controls have been updated, the rear seats now flip and fold (on select models), dual-stage front and side-curtain air bags are now standard fare, as is OnStar telematics. New options include Nuance leather seating and a factory-installed remote starter.
