The TL is Acura's mid-level premium luxury sedan. Acura has given the TL a powerful V6 engine, a dynamic suspension and a host of technological features Acura owners have come to expect. The TL's styling is bolder than previous models, with strong lines, a distinctive front end and a brilliantly designed interior. Though it clearly has the power to run with the segment leaders, when pushed hard the TL's front-wheel drive layout is prone to torque steer and understeer, which is why many competitive cars are rear- or all-wheel drive. For some, these attributes place the TL behind the BMW 3-Series, Infiniti G35 and Audi A4 Quattro in the fun-to-drive category. But as most consumers will never push their cars to such limits, we think the TL's combination of luxury, price and strong resale places it high in its class.
