2006 Acura RSX Hatchback

The affordable four-cylinder performance coupe market has changed radically in recent years. Toyota has killed off the Celica, and the Honda Prelude is long-gone. That leaves the Acura RSX to compete against the Saturn Ion Red Line, Mini Cooper S, VW GTI 2.0T and Chevrolet Cobalt SS. The RSX's ample horsepower also allows it to compete against a small field of V6-powered competitors such as the Hyundai Tiburon and Mitsubishi Eclipse. Long one of the most-respected entries in the segment, the RSX offers a superb blend of performance, value and economy. The fact that this hot little coupe also delivers a rating of 30+ miles per gallon on the highway is just icing on the cake.
