2018 Nissan Pathfinder ratings and reviews

The Nissan Pathfinder got a lot of updates for 2017, including a switch from a truck chassis to a sedan platform, making the SUV easier to handle, more comfortable to drive, and more fuel-efficient. Those changes continue into 2018 along with the addition of several safety features, such as automatic emergency braking. One notable new feature is Rear Door Alert, which reminds drivers of anything or anyone in the back seat, such as small children, pets, or gear. Several safety features are available on the Pathfinder above the base level trim. The SV trim has blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems, while the top-level Platinum trim has intelligent cruise control and a navigation system. The engine on all Pathfinder models is a 3.5-liter V6 with a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with the option of upgrading to all-wheel-drive available for all trim levels.
