2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class ratings and reviews

For 2018, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class gets a bit of a reboot. This year's base model, the S450, has a V6 engine while 2018 S560 models have V8 engines. There are new safety features as well as additional driver assistance features and updates to the interior and exterior of the cars. Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring, driver alertness monitoring, lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking. As you might expect from a Mercedes, the interior of the S-Class is designed with comfort in mind. The front seats are heated, the doors close softly, and there is dual-zone climate control. Engine options include a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 362 horsepower and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 463 horsepower. AMG-models feature either a 4.0-liter V8 AMG Biturbo engine with 603 horsepower or a 6.0-liter V12 AMG Biturbo engine with 621 horsepower.
