2018 Jeep Compass ratings and reviews

2018 is the second year that Jeep has produced the Compass, its compact SUV. New features on the 2018 Jeep Compass include a high-end trim option, the Limited model, which comes in front-wheel drive as well as four-wheel drive. The 2018 Compass has the same underpinnings as the Cherokee and the Renegade. Models with four-wheel-drive include a 9-speed automatic transmission while front-drive models have a 6-speed automatic transmission. The base trims also offer a 6-speed manual transmission. The Compass has a slightly higher ride, rugged tires with a full-size spare, crawl mode that holds the transmission in first gear, and skidplates, all of which help it to perform at its best off-road. It also has a full suite of off-road tech and hardware. Trim options include Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited, all of which have a 2.4-liter inline-4 cylinder engine. Front-wheel drive models get up to 32 mpg/highway.
