2010 Volkswagen Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Volkswagen made major moves in 2010. Chief among these was the introduction of the Volkswagen Golf. The 2010 Golf replaces the compact Rabbit. It features the option of two-doors or four-doors in a hatchback style. The 2010 version of this model comes with a 2.5L five-cylinder engine capable of producing 170 horsepower. The new TDI model has a slightly more powerful 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine. Other notable changes to the Volkswagen lineup in 2010 are a redesigned Jetta and a new version of the Passat. Because of even more upcoming changes scheduled in 2011, several of the sub-models of these two vehicles were dropped in 2010. Other popular 2010 Volkswagen models include the Beetle, Routan, Tiguan, and Touareg. Most of these other models didn't receive any substantial changes in the 2010 model year.
